Pathan
In Downtown Dubai, we played a crucial role as drone operators for the action-packed film "Pathan." Our drones captured the explosive action scenes and high-paced sequences, adding a dynamic perspective. We captured every explosion and thrilling stunt, integrating aerial shots seamlessly. Bloody Daddy
As the drone operator for "Bloody Daddy", our responsibilities were critical for establishing the movie's setting and ambiance. Shooting on location at the renowned Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, we executed strategic aerial shots to fully encapsulate the grandiosity of this iconic landmark. Our team expertly planned the drone shots, ensuring we showcased Abu Dhabi's stunning landscape.
Sonic Movie
We provided both aerial and ground filming for the desert scenes in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie. To ensure that the filming went smoothly, we spent eight days scouting the dunes of the Liwa desert together with the director and producer. Additionally, we facilitated the landing of the helicopter and provided an on-location refueling truck. During the shoot, we expertly piloted the helicopter at a height of just 1-2 meters while maintaining high speeds, which enabled us to simulate the point of view of Sonic as he runs.
Desert to Grassland
If you watch the end credits of the desert to grassland chapter of 'Our Planet' series on Netflix, you will notice that CHOPPERSHOOT is mentioned in the 'special thanks' section. We facilitated the entire filming process for the desert chapter, which was shot in the Liwa desert of Abu Dhabi for the 'Our Planet' series on Netflix. During their 10-day stay in Liwa, our team provided logistics support to the DOP and filming crew, enabling them to capture footage of gazelles in their natural habitat within the largest protected conservation area in the UAE.
Pope Francis Visit
At Choppershoot, we are proud to have been a part of the historic Year of Tolerance event in the UAE, which kicked off with Pope Francis' visit to Abu Dhabi. We provided live drone broadcast services for this momentous occasion, showcasing our Drone filming expertise in Abu Dhabi. There is not a single soul in India that does not know Salman khan. Abu Dhabi has been his preferred destination to film his recent films. We were hired to film 8 days for a sequence of his movie Bharat during the summer of 2018. We used heavy lift Alta 8 drone with ultra prime lenses.
