Real estate drone filming in Dubai

Aerial video and photography for developers, agents and property marketers. We film from the air with drones, FPV and helicopters, and on the ground with film and photography crews. We handle the permits and developer approvals.

What we film

Property marketing

Films and photography that show a development at its best

Buyers judge a property by its setting. We show the building, what surrounds it and how far it is from what matters, from the air and on the ground.

  • Launch and sales films

Footage for off-plan launches, sales galleries and brand films, filmed to your brief and delivered ready for your editor.

    Drone · Cinema camera

  • FPV fly-throughs

An FPV drone moves along a street, around a tower or through a community in one continuous shot.

    FPV · Close proximity

  • Aerial photography

High-resolution stills of towers, villas and master plans for brochures, property portals and hoardings.

    Stills · Brochures · Portals

  • Ground filming and photography

Our crews also film and photograph on the ground: exteriors, interiors and amenities, so one team covers the whole property.

    Gimbal · Stills

  • Location and community shots

Shots that place a project in its setting: the waterfront, the skyline, the roads and the amenities around it. Helicopter filming covers large master plans.

How it works

Brief to delivery

How a property shoot comes together

  1. Brief and site visit

    Week one

We confirm the location, the shots and the time of day, then recommend drone, FPV, helicopter or a mix.

  2. Permits and NOCs

    Typically 14–16 working days

We apply to the aviation and film authorities and get the developer's No Objection Certificate where it is needed.

  3. Filming day

    On location

A risk-assessed flight plan, live drone tracking and an on-set location manager, with the crew that planned it.

  4. Delivery

    After the shoot

Footage and stills in the formats your editor, agency or portal needs.

Questions

Real estate shoots

Real estate drone filming: common questions

Do I need a permit to film a development with a drone in Dubai?
Yes. Commercial drone filming needs approval from the GCAA, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and the Dubai Film and TV Commission (DFTC), and a flight over private land needs a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the owner or developer. We are licensed and registered with the DFTC and apply for these on your behalf.
How long do the permits take?
A standard commercial drone permit in Dubai usually takes 14 to 16 working days, and 18 to 20 working days in Abu Dhabi. A ground-only filming permit in Dubai takes 2 to 8 working days, depending on the size of the production and the location. Expedited approval is possible only in special cases, such as government projects or major events, and is never guaranteed.
Can you shoot an FPV fly-through of a building or community?
Yes. An FPV drone can move along a street, around a tower or through a development in one continuous shot, which a standard drone cannot do. The developer's approval and a site safety plan are still needed. Our Damac Hills film below is an example.
Do you also film and photograph on the ground?
Yes. Alongside aerial work we film and photograph on the ground, so one crew can cover the whole property. A ground-only filming permit in Dubai takes 2 to 8 working days, depending on the size of the production and the location.
Can you film at sunrise, sunset or at night?
Yes. Sunrise and sunset are the most common times for property films, so we plan the shoot around the light you want. Night flights are possible if the DCAA and GCAA approve a risk assessment before the shoot.
What do I receive after the shoot?
Footage in the formats and codecs your editor or agency needs, and high-resolution stills if you booked photography. Tell us in the brief where the material will be used, for example a website, a sales gallery or outdoor media.
Which developers have you filmed for?
Our real estate clients include Nakheel, Dubai Holding, Meraas, Damac, Ellington and Imtiaz Developers.
Do you film real estate outside Dubai?
Yes. We have offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh and know the permit process in each.
